We design interiors that evoke strong personal connections.
As hospitality and high end residential interiors specialists, we draw inspiration from our love of great architecture. We bring proportion, spatial sensibility and play upon volume to our interior explorations. We look to fashion for its innovative use of colour, detail and form. We find immense pleasure in art’s refraction of culture and emotions, and we try to incorporate those elements into our work.
Comfort means everything to us. For us, comfort has everything to do with context. Comfort is not expressed purely by the material; it is about the familiar in unexpected surroundings and evokes a state of well being. It is enhanced by efficiency, convenience and function, just as much as it is by aesthetics.
Our approach to every project is to listen. Every project is unique and we create spaces that are understated, detail oriented and mindful that they will be experienced by people from different backgrounds, cultures and age brackets. We believe in treading softly upon the earth’s resources, and we adapt a sustainable frame of mind in our selection of materials. To that end, we don’t specify exotic animal skin for decorative purposes. We feel that a beautiful, well designed space should be one that respects its locale and the natural components that contribute to its being.
We believe that the word luxury has become ubiquitous; as a result, it has lost its true meaning. Luxury has too long been associated with bling. We feel that substance and a deeper understanding of place are what contribute to a memorable stay. Whether it is the drama of a destination dining restaurant, the relaxation evoked by a sensual spa, or the intimate ambience of a guestroom that addresses every whim, we design interiors that evoke strong personal connections.
We make spaces for people to make memories.
