Occupying more than 5,000 sf with an expansive terrace facing Victoria Harbour, La Rambla is home to renowned Spanish chef Ferran Tadeo’s innovative Catalan inspired cuisine. The entry vestibule is set on an angle from the main corridor and graced with a contemporary installation of the restaurant’s olive tree logo. Within, a bar and chef’s table allow guests to see all the culinary drama.
The open dining area is dominated by a tree under the glow of a simulated skylight to foster the atmosphere of a Spanish courtyard. Marcel Breuer’s wicker Cesca chairs are utilised throughout the restaurant and supplemented by terrazzo and wood to underscore the design concept’s craft elements.
A tribute to Joan Miró by Spanish artist Javier Calleja on a feature wall opposite the glazing lend La Rambla a whimsical touch, while colourful Kettal outdoor furnishings on the terrace allow diners to comfortably soak in the view.
